Parker Fabrication Engineering has extensive capabilities in order to provide customers with design options and support for new product, continuous improvement of existing product or manufacturing aided cost reduction initiatives. Parker Fabrication Engineering uses Pro-E Wildfire 3.0 through 5.0 for the latest 3-D modeling capabilities along with Pro-E Mechanica for finite element analysis and the Mechanism Design module for complicated assembly structures and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Some of our engineering capabilities include:
- Reverse Engineering - Specializing in exhaust components, welded assemblies, and tubing assemblies
- Exhaust Engineering - Specializing in industrial, marine, and emissions retrofits
- Diesel Emissions - Specializing in emissions compliance retrofit packages
- Part Inspection - CMM inspection services of components or larger fabricated assemblies
The engineering staff have a strong understand of current CPPDM methodologies and are willing to perform and/or assist in all phases of the design process from concept definition, financial feasibility, design integration, design and product validation, and after action reviews.
With the combined assets of the Quality and Engineering Departments, Parker Fabrication has the ability to use the portable Romer CMM device to precisely measure components and their packaging constraints either in the inspection area or in the field. These measurements can be directly imported into the Pro-E CAD system for the creation of 3-D models and GD&T controlled prints.
The ability to rapidly “reverse engineer”, manufacture, and deliver not only replacement components but, if desired, fully detailed models and drawings of the components gives Parker Fabrication a distinct advantage in accuracy and lead time to replace custom / or unsupported components or to turn prototype mock-up designs to a detailed, documented product ready for production.
