Parker Fabrication offers a highly experienced and skilled weld department that focuses on GMAW and GTAW with standard or pulse inverter based machines carrying a capacity up to 700 amps. The department has extensive experience in welding carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and brazing, with some specialized experience in pre/post heat treatment of cast iron welding, and also the welding of hastelloy and inconel. Hepa source fume collectors are used at all weld stations for the protection of our employees. At Parker Fabrication, we specialize in tube, pipe and prototype fabrication.

Sections of the Fabrication Department specialize in rapid prototyping using Bluco table fixture technology. The Bluco fixtures allows for the Engineers and Fabricators to quickly build precise weld, assembly, and inspection fixtures for low quantity non-repeat jobs. Along with the 3-D modeling and CMM inspection capabilities, the rapid prototype process insures production level quality, quick turn around times, and competitive pricing for low quantity or unique components.
The production based Fabrication Section uses synergies with the Engineering and Quality Departments in order to allow for the design of permanent fixtures along with the use of existing fixture capabilities in Pro-E modeling. The modeling capabilities allows for fixtures to be completed, reviewed, approved and procured before the job reaches the fabrication stage. All incoming fixtures are inspected and documented by the Quality department. The overall fixture set-up is also inspected along with the initial components from the fixture assembly.
The Fabrication Department has access to various metal forming and cutting devices including computer controlled burn tables along with plasma and laser cutting devices, several metal saws, and multiple bending, shearing and forming devices.
The operational excellence demonstrated between the Fabrication, Engineering and Quality Control Departments allow for accurate, consistent, on time component manufacturing, with customer defined quality control levels / reporting, ease in continuous improvement opportunity investigation, and the ability for quick adjustment to engineering revision changes.
